Advance Excel Concepts - VLOOKUP
VLOOKUP is one of the Advance Excel Concepts. VLOOKUP is Vertical Lookup. VLOOKUP helps to find the the respective column details of the particular data in the table
Formula Syntax:
=VLOOKUP(Value have to lookup, Table array , Column index, Match indication(Optional))
=> Value have to lookup means need to provide the value that wants to search for
=> Table Array means the Table where we want extract the data this table needs to select
=> Column Index means the column where the value respective lookup value to extract
=> Approximation match - True(1) or Exact Match - False(0)

Steps that we need to follow to be successful in VLOOKUP
1. Initially, Have the table ready like as below

4. In next step, We can write the Formula for VLOOKUP for our requirement, Once formula has written then just give ENTER =VLOOKUP(B19,A1:G13,2,0)
5. Finally, Drag it to left side in our case you will see the Student_Maths_Marks data for this student_ID
=> B19 - Lookup Value
=> A1:G13 - Table Array
=> 2 - Column Index
=> 0 - Match Indication(Optional)
That's it all about VLOOKUP process. Successfully Learned VLOOKUP, Now searching in huge data and extracting data in enormous data Table can be done easily.
